Peter Landeen, cellist and Seattle native, began his cello studies at the age of four. He is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. His list of former teachers includes Carter Brey (N.Y. Philharmonic Principal cellist), Colin Carr (International concert cellist), Lawrence Lesser (protégé of Gregor Piatagorsky) and Richard Aaron (Cleveland Institute of music). Peter currently has a private teaching studio in Helena and Bozeman.
