Molly Morrison

Molly Morrison, pianist-teacher, is a graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in Piano Performance/Piano Pedagogy. There she served as Staff Accompanist, Pedagogy, Class Piano and High School Piano Campion Instructor. She received a Master’s in Piano Performance with an emphasis in accompanying from Arizona State University. As a teaching assistant there she taught accompanying classes and performed chamber music regularly. Her teachers include Dennis Alexander, Robert Hamilton and the late Lois McLeod and John Ellis. She has performed as the official accompanist for the University Suzuki String Instiute fort the past 13 years, for the Montana All State Choirs under a variety of conductors from across the country, for faculty and student recitals at the University of Montana and with the Montana Chorale. Most recently she performed “Carnival of the Animals” with the Galcier orchesta and Piano Duo concerts as a member of Montana Confluence”. As a nationally certified teacher of Music, Master Teacher and member of the Montna State Music Teachers Association Molly adjudicates festivals and presents workshops for piano teachers throughout the northwest.
