Mary LaMonaca

Mary LaMonaca, Concertmaster of the Rimrock Opera Orchestra, is a former member of the Houston Symphony and served as concertmaster of the Billings Symphony for 31 years. She earned a B.M.E. from Indiana University, studying with Harry Farbman, and a M.M. from New England Conservatory, studying with Joseph Silverstein. She attended on scholarship Aspen, Tanglewood, and international chamber music festivals in Italy and Switzerland. She was a member of the Allegri String Quartet and Contemporary Chamber Players of Houston and was one of the founders of the Red Lodge Music Festival, and the Yellowstone Chamber Players.
