Julie Bishop received her Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Montana School of Music in 1976. She has taught voice lessons for over 20 years. She has served as a judge at District and State Music Festivals for many years. She has directed the Mayflower Congregational Church Junior Choir since 1991. Vocal music is central to Julie’s life. She especially enjoys sharing her training, spirit and enthusiasm with young vocalists. Julie is a professional vocalist, having sung soprano solos from the Messiah, as well as solos and operas with the Billings Symphony. She has volunteered giving voice lessons to high schoolers at Billings Senior High School. In her spare time she sings at civic functions, weddings and funerals. She and her husband Randy have two teenage children, Travis and Hallie.
