Jenanne Solberg

Jenanne Solberg, pianist and violist, served as principal viola of the Billings, Casper and Bozeman Symphonies, as well as the Montana Summer Symphony, and has performed with the Missoula Symphony Orchestra, Yellowstone Chamber Players, Flathead Festival Orchestra, String Orchestra of the Rockies and is currently with the Glacier Orchestra. She holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Montana where she also taught class piano and served as choral assistant. In addition, she has completed her teaching certification at MSU-Billings.

She is a versatile composer and has completed several commissioned works for piano solo, chamber music ensemble and elementary string orchestra. She currently resides in Whitefish, Montana where she teaches 5th and 6th grade general music; 6th, 7th and 8th grade orchestras; 7th and 8th grade choir; and directs the Whitefish High School Orchestra.  She also conducts the Whitefish Community Orchestra and is on the faculty of the North Valley Music School.
