Fred Binckes, Professor of piano, organ and composition. He has a B.M., MALS, and D.A. in music from Oberlin Conservatory, Valparaiso University and Ball State University. His principal teachers were F. Douglas, F. Koberstein, and K. Koriath. He is a fellow of the American Guild of Organists. Dr. Binckes is organist at the Mayflower Church in Billings. He has over 100 keyboard and choral compositions in print and has been commissioned to do other works. In February of 1999, Dr. Binckes was the first Montanan ever to play a solo organ recital at National Cathedral in Washington D. C.
