Elinore Quander
Elinore Quander, pianist, has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music, Chicago, Illinois. She taught in the Dolton, Illinois school system for 4 years and the Aurora,Colorado school system for 4 years before moving to Billings. She has maintained a private piano and guitar studio in Billings for the past 25 years. Since moving to Billings she has studied piano with Dorothea Cromley and Leann Vralsted. She is a certified member of MTNA, MSMTA, and BMTA for the past 14 years. She is a Past President of MSMTA. She has been chair of the Montana MTNA competitions and Fall Festival for the past 6 years, and serves as the Young Artist Competition Chair for the Northwest Division. She was also president of BMTA for 4 years. Her husband Don is an attorney in Billings, and she has two daughters: Caitlin, 25, a recent graduate of the University of Denver Law School, and Alyssa, 22, a recent graduate of Colgate University, in New York.
